Changing of the Guard

Be sure to take your kid’s to the front gates of Prague Castle complex to watch the Changing of the Guard. The Guard is comprised of a brigade of the Armed Forces of the Czech Republic who in turn serve the President of the Czech Republic, as both security force and also to provide honour guards who participate in ceremonial functions. The ceremony occurs each hour from 07:00-20:00 in the summer and 07:00-18:00 in the winter. If possible, try to catch the noon ceremony which includes a banner exchange and fan-fare, promised to instill wonder and excitement into your little one’s hearts!
